Marines Near End of “Gumpathon”   Leave a comment


Nearing the end of their journey, six Marines are passing through Las Vegas on their way to complete the Gumpathon, a two month long coast-to-coast run. “It’s my way to give something back to them,” runner Charles Padilla said. In a nod to the film, “Forrest Gump,” the group of Marines — including a triple amputee — have run across the country to bring awareness to the men and women serving in the military. They started their run Sept. 10 in New York City and will end in Santa Monica, Calif. Read the full article and watch the video HERE.
